The end of Windows 10's free upgrade bonanza is 7 weeks away and despite my harsh experience with it, I decided to jump on board again seeing as most of the bugs it had at launch had been fixed BUT most of all because I would be required to drop a "whooping" 0 if at anytime in the future after July 29th, I suddenly decided to upgrade.
One of the major issues I had with Windows 10 was that it crashed a lot.
Updating drivers gets specially compulsory in-case of bundled graphics cards (usually AMD Radeon) as newer games complain about outdated drivers which create compatibility and performance issues for them with the error shown below.
On Sunday, I got a message from Windows that there was an update to the video drivers.
I downloaded them an updated the drivers, and that's where things started acting oddly...
First the screen resolution of Windows got really high (really small text and icons), and second, the game crashed the video driver every once in a while.
So, I seemed to have very good success on Saturday and Wo T ran well. When I went back to it in the evening, it was running the game in some kind of low resolution mode, and there was a pretty big lag on the mouse as well, and a notice came up about the game running low of resources or something similar.
I presume it dropped the resolution because of that.
