I don't usually start off a post with the impact points right at the beginning.
But I want to lay these out first -- because they're so vital to solid message writing -- and we'll get into the "whys" and the "hows" in a moment.
Pull something from her profile that indicates you’ve taken the time to get to know her.
Did she mention a favorite a TV show in her description, does it look like she travelled somewhere cool in her photos, does she list beach volleyball as one of her interests?
Photos, profile description and interests will give you lots of content to work with when you’re crafting that first message.
Write a message similar to how you would speak, while leaving out empty greetings or the use of slang.
I'd like to know your thoughts on [Interest in her profile .... I know how busy you must be, so I will keep this short, but I noticed we had some things in common, I've been [listening to the same music she likes, watched a TV show she likes, working out ... Family comes first, but I wanted to know what you enjoy doing if you'd have time to relax by yourself?
To start, there’s one thing you should know that will greatly affect your response rates… I did a huge post about it and nearly all of the profiles I critique suffer from crappy photos. The guys don’t smile, are unkempt, and look like the dating site murderer (pictured above).
Remember, you need to tweak these to the girls profile. - Use this when you want to add a something unique to your first message. I'm just your average guy Who's looking for a chance Will you accept this message Like it's our first dance?
They want to know that you read their profile (given that it's more than a few sentences long) ... Hello My name is [Name] and your profile has caught my attention. Just kidding :) I actually noticed we had some things in common - I really enjoy [Movies, the outdoors, sports, reading]. Roses are red Violets are blue I saw you online Then I messaged you Where do we start? Things might go well Or maybe I fail It wouldn't much matter If I was with youall would be well - Send this when the girl already has kids.
The girls post a profile and get bombarded with messages from guys, guys scan profiles and message the girls.
So, do you have any advice for how to get my message to stand out? Most dating sites have a flirty option which allows you to express your interest without having to actually message a person.
